Information about Uni Clarityn
Composition:
Tablets: Each tablet contains: 10 mg Loratdine.
Syrup: Each 5 ml contains: 5 mg Loratadine
Dosage:
The drug may be taken without regard to meal time.
Adults and children over 12 years of age: 10 mg once daily one tablet or 10 ml of the syrup.
Paediatric patients:
*Children 2 to 12 years of age with:
- Body weight more than 30 kg: 10 mg once daily one tablet or 10ml of the syrup.
- Body weight 30 kg or less: (5mg) 5ml of the syrup once daily, the tablets are not suitable in children with a body weight less than 30 kg.
*Children under 2 years of age: The safety and efficacy of Loratadine use in these patients has not been established.
Patients with hepatic impairment: Patients with severe liver impairment should be administered a lower initial dose because they may have reduced clearance of loratadine.
*Adults and children weighing more than 30 kg: An initial dose of 10 mg every other day is recommended
*Children weighing 30 kg or less: An initial dose of 5 ml (5 mg) every other day is recommended.
Patients with renal impairment: No dosage adjustments are required in patients with renal insufficiency.
Elderly: No dosage adjustments are required in the elderly.
Indications and Usage:
Loratadine is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of allergic rhinitis and chronic idiopathic urticaria.
Storage Conditions:
Tablets: Store below 30°C away from moisture.
Syrup: Store below 30°C.

Tablets: Carton pack of 10 tablets.
Syrup: Carton pack contains glass bottle of 100 ml.
