Information about UNIZYME FORTE

Composition:
Each film coated tablet contains: Pancreatin (Pancreas powder) equivalent to the minimum activity of: Amylase 4200 ph.eur.units, Lipase 3500 ph.eur.units, Protease 250 ph.eur.units.
Dosage:
Dosage should be adjusted according to the needs of the individual patient and the amount of food consumed.
Neonates: the contents of 1 - 2 tablets mixed with feeds.
Indications and Usage:
Unizyme forte is used to compensate for reduced intestinal enzyme activity in pancreatic deficiency states. it is indicated for the treatment of fibrocystic disease of the pancreas, chronic pancreatitis and pancreatic steatorrhea following pancreatectomy. It may also be indicated following gastrectomy as an aid to digestion.
