Information about Colonium
Composition: 
Each film coated tablet contains:
40 mg otilonium bromide. 

Indications: 
•Spasms of the colon, such as in irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

Dosage and administrations:
The dosage should be individualized and determined by the doctor based on the symptoms.
General dose: Depending on the severity of symptoms, administer 1 tablet otilonium bromide 40 mg 2 to 3 times per day.
The usual treatment is 4 weeks. The doctor will assess the need to extend it.
Pediatric population: In the absence of data in this age group, otilonium bromide not be administered under 12.
Administration mode: Oral administration: The tablet should be taken with ½ glass of water.

Contraindications:
•hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients .
•intestinal obstruction.

PREGNANCY and BREAST-FEEDING: 
In the absence of controlled data regarding the safety during pregnancy and breastfeeding, the administration otilonium is not recommended during this period, although the reproductive studies performed on the animals otilonium bromide did not reveal any teratogenic effect.

Storage conditions: 
store at room temperature 15 - 25°C.

Packaging: 
Carton pack contains 30 film coated tablets.
