Information about CARDUMAX
Composition:
The tablets contain doxazosin mesylate equivalent to 1 and 4 mg doxazosin.
Indications and usage:
Hypertension: Doxazosin is indicated for the treatment of hypertension and can be used as the initial agent to control blood pressure in the majority of patients. In patients not adequately controlled on a single antihypertensive agent doxazosin may use doxazosin in combination with another drug such as thiazide diuretic.
Dosage:
Doxazosin may be administered either in the morning or in the evening. Hypertension: The full dosage range of doxazosin is 1-16 mg daily. It is recommended that therapy be initiated at 1 mg given once daily for one or two weeks. 
Package:
1 mg tablets in packs of 20 tablets. 
4 mg tablets in packs of 16 tablets.
