Information about GLIBOMET
Composition:
GLIBOMET"2.5": Each film - coated tablet contains: Glibenclamide 2.5mg and  Metformin Hydrochloride 400mg.

GLIBOMET "5": Each film - coated tablet contains: Glibenclamide 5mg and Metformin Hydrochloride 400mg.

Dosage:
Daily doses, type and duration of treatment must be established by the physician. In general the usual starting dose is: 2 tablets per day with main meals. However, doses should never exceed 6 tablets of Glibomet and 4 tablets of Glibomet "5",The daily dose should then be reduced until the minimum amount is reached.

Indications and usage:
Diabetes Mellitus Type 2 (NIDDM, Non-Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus) where diet alone or diet and sulphonylureas or biguanides cannot satisfactorily lower blood glucose levels.
